-I was making a new waist coat from and old one and while cutting a pair of tights for the hands of the waist coat.
I decided to cut around the waist of the tight and that brought up a new idea which was a necklace.
I'm done with the necklace made with tights and black needle and thread, and a very old diamond chain bra strap that i owned.
My mum thinks i should make more and sell but i am scared that it won't be durable and might get spoilt very quick.

-I also glued large studs to my fake Uggs so they would be unique. I guess its DIY.
-I cut up an old night gown (leopard print) and i sewed the pieces i cut on a black skirt, to cover up a green line that i did not want.

-I look forward to doing more in the future.

My group had to do a package design for a wine bottle so we made a box out of large black foam board

we used an exacto knife to cut out the design and then a glue gun to glue them together.

Then we placed a piece of satin fabric in the inside, and the cut out aka the back drop was the shape of the wine bottle.

we sent the graphic pasty" to a nearby shop to get it printed into a sticker and then carefully laid it on the bottle

My DIY project doesn't have a lot to do with fashion, but I think that it's awesome!

So my family and I eat at Japanese restaurants a lot, and so I've been saving those wooden chopsticks that the rest of my family hate using. That's three pairs of wooden chopsticks for my project every time we go out to dinner there.

What I've been doing is taking an image of something that I love and creating a sort of paint-by-numbers. Then I glue all of the chopsticks on a straight block of plywood, very tightly together. I then transfer the "paint by numbers" onto the chopsticks.

Once I've finished painting, I have an awesome wall hanging made out of chopsticks! It's sort of pointless and silly but I think it looks awesome. So far. I haven't actually finished the painting yet.

I have started to make bracelets like the stoneycloverlane ones. They are $20!!! so I just get supplies and charms and make them for myself =] they're really cute.. Im not sure whether I should make some more and maybe sell them.. =P

I made a Pencil/high waisted skirt from a pair of dress pants...

I got the idea from turning jeans into a skirt... I did basically the same thing.

Nice-I have always wanted to make a pencil skirt.

A paint by numbers is where each color has a specific number, and you mark where each color is supposed to be through the number.

I don't know if this is considered DIY, but I used to make lots of jewellry. I usually make it for others, because I don't like coming up with my own designs, so I do customs. Other than that, I also bead jewellry, keychains, etc. Or, make those cute little crafts like voodoo dolls, stuffies, etc.

I was thinking of selling, but I'm not too sure if people would actually purchase it. But if I did sell it, I would probably only do customs, and I would only charge for the materials cost, plus $1 for time/effort spent.
