Usually when people think Thanksgiving dinner, they visualize a nicely roasted Turkey with stuffing in the middle of the table with gravy and mashed potatoes among many other foods that people typically eat on Thanksgiving. My family's a traditional Chinese family so we usually go out to a Chinese restaurant on holidays. My favorite dish, as weird as it is on Thanksgiving, is sweet mayonnaise shrimp.

My favorite thanksgiving dish is my moms twice baked mashed potatoes with cheese and scallions. even the leftovers are delicious

Definitely potato pancakes! But that’s most likely a thing we only do in the south. It is mashed potatoes with cheese, garlic and onion powder, and 1 egg. Then you make them into little pancake shapes and fry them. They are so amazing! :)

My mom and I are both vegetarians, so while everyone else in the family goes crazy over turkey, my mom and I spoil ourselves by eating waffles. It's great!
